NLP basics discuss the principle that what we focus and concentrate on becomes real. We think in pictures.
If we focus on what we want in life, picture it and concentrate on it, it will happen for us.
If we imagine ourselves becoming a chef for example, we then go into a thinking pattern than
forms the steps we want or need to take to get there. We then proceed to map it out….
A mind map if you like. The same applies to the negative. If we imagine ourselves in a negative
situation often enough, that negative situation becomes real. If we picture ourselves remaining
in a dead-end job for life, for example, then that will probably be the case.
