Back to Nature (Issue 29) Oct 2009
You’re driving yourself nuts trying to come up with new ideas... You’re frustrated because you can’t seem to find that creative streak You’re tired, a little stressed, leaving the boring tasks until last... Your time management skills are out the window, and You’ve decided it’s all too hard.
You’ve heard it before... it’s nothing new.... it’s time to go back to nature.
Remember the movie ‘Pretty Woman’? Richard Gere, contemplates some major stuff, takes some time out and a few moments to feel the grass beneath his feet. When did you last do the same?
It’s not about just going for a walk in the park, or sitting in a cafe taking in a great view. It’s about going back to nature, to the raw contact stuff. Picture this.... you get out of the office, find the nearest soft, green, lush, green patch, take off your shoes and socks and feel the grass between your toes. You stop still, take a few breaths and you even smell a few flowers while you’re at it.
So, sit for a moment, take a picnic lunch if you want, take a friend, just do it. Just make sure you avoid the prickly weeds and any little ‘nasties’ lurking amongst the lush...
SEE what happens...
