About
Deanna Roberts grew up on a tropical island, Nauru, where television, iPads, laptops and Nintendo’s were just non-existent. It was either a trip to the cinema or make up something! So, Deanna did. She performed ‘funny shows’ for her family and friends and it was in those early days as a performer and presenter that Deanna’s confidence grew rapidly. Whilst on Nauru, Deanna encountered various cultures and travelled on phosphate cargo ships, meeting a variety of characters and personalities. Upon returning to Melbourne, Deanna gained further insight into human behaviour and developed both personal and business relationships whilst servicing a multitude of personalities and cultures in a family restaurant. This began to shape her own special characters and accents, performance and presentation skills and her outstanding ability to drop in and out of character at any time.
Deanna has a degree in education and training, a diploma of arts and studied performing arts for many years. During Deanna’s 25+ years in the corporate sector in presentation and training, project management, staff development and mentoring and coaching she discovered that confidence was a major issue for many presenters and speakers and it was then that she knew she was destined to share her expertise and mastery in presentation and platform skills.
Deanna also addresses at least 26,000 listeners each week on community radio and her talent in combining entertainment, humour, education and creativity on and off the air also provide you with effective and lively ideas to utilise in your own presentations.
Deanna’s distinctive presentations offer keys to your presentation success but with a difference. Deanna’s unique approach, combination of strategies and improvisation games designed specifically for presenters and zany characters add a humorous flavour and entertain, capturing interest with her own unique expressions, character accents and voices.
If you haven’t attended a Deanna Roberts’ presentation of any kind, you’re missing out.
